about the masters

Ben Masters has worked as a food stylist for over 15 years, starting in editorial with Donna Hay and moving into packaging, advertising and film work.

He has worked with some of the top photographers, production companies and agencies in all areas of the styling industry, specializing in advertising and packaging. His body of work includes work on over a dozen books, magazines and newspaper publications in Australia, Europe and the USA. He is also responsible for the launch and re-branding of some of Australia's biggest and best known food related brands.

Ben believes food is an important part of life and aims to bring out the natural raw beauty in food and to make it a priority in peoples lives.

Lou Masters worked in advertising and design before turning to styling, initially together with Ben on food shoots and then with products and interiors. Her clients range from boutique brands to multi-nationals. Lou aims to bring a sense of the quirkiness, texture and love of beautiful things to each job she does.
